Once upon a time, in a land far far far away; a small mouse by the name of Victoria crept quietly from her nest under the mail box of number 8 Stuart blvd. In her arms she carried a little ball of fluff, no bigger than a dime. She crept down to the flowing water and pulled a leaf from off a flower bush as well as a vine from the big white fence, which ran along the shore line. Victoria wrapped the ball of fluff tightly in the leaf and sent it adrift upon the river. As she watched it float away she was relieved, for this was no mouse that had been birthed in her litter that night. No mouse of hers!
Victoria had no way of knowing that one day this little ball of fluff would grow to be, the one and only, Sir Fluffykins, Knight of the Red Sea and slayer of pirates and bandits alike!
On that fateful night while his leaf boat drifted into the darkness, all seemed lost for Fluffykins, but fate had another plan for him. As he drifted down stream, he got trapped in a fishing-net and pulled on bored a great ship. And not by just any ship; but one of the Queens very own voyagers preparing to set out for battle! Fluffykins, only one day old and tied to a leaf, was helpless as he was pulled onto the ship. At the last moment, just before the net touched down, his leaf was dislodged and he fell to the floor, rolling across the deck and into a small hole then down a round pipe and into the storage seller. Fluffykins squeaked and struggled to free himself from the vine, once he was liberated from its hold he looked around in astonishment! This was a wonderful new place! A place where maybe, one day, he would belong!
Fulffykins gazed around the new strange place; odd pots and pans lined the shelves and strange smells of delicious unknown foods whipped his nose, calling him not to unlike outstretched fingers, beckoning him in a temping manner. He scaled his way up an old boot and into a box of cheese. He sat there in the box nibbling on this and that with gleeful contentment.
At that moment, in the far corner of the other side of the cellar, there was a whimper. Fluffykins, being brave since birth, didnt think twice before he went to investigate the sound. Under an old empty potato box, there was a strange little kitten, but at the time he had no way of knowing just how strange seeing, as he had never seen a cat before. The kitten seemed so sad Fluffykins sat down beside him. Whats wrong? He asked.
The Kitten replied, Aren't you afraid of me?
NO! Why on earth would I be?
Well I only have one big eye! The kitten replied.
Oh! I didnt know you needed two to see. Fluffykins tilted his head in confusion.
The kitten giggled, Youre so Odd.
He exclaimed! Oh so now youre calling me names?
No No, of course not. The kitten replied.
Cyclopto and Fluffykins soon learned they where unwelcome guests upon the ship. So they began to train, day in and day out, in the arts of battle and the methods of going unseen and heard.
From the day they met the two were inseparable and have many tales written about their adventures, but Ill save THAT for another day.
